My first workshop was in Derby where I made a range of domestic pots, jugs, mugs, teapots etc. Moving to Sheffield I had a workshop in the centre of the City for seven years. A desire for a change of lifestyle resulted in buying an old farmhouse with attached barn. This
barn has made a spacious workshop, if a little draughty. We have dogs,
cats, and hens (fox willing) a large garden and a semi rural situation,
which provides much of my inspiration.
